Jinxville: It's art-ish.

I'm in the process of moving Jinxville to a new (free!) server and gearing up to give it a new, more engaging site design. So, if things seem sort of weird for a while...yeah. Sorry. It's not permanent. Just thought I would give a heads-up to anyone checking the site.

A few days ago, Josh Lesnick put up the Girly guest comic I did, focusing on Chuy and Autumn, two of my favorite characters from the series. Man, I drew that back in, like, July. So weird to see it finally up. But people seem to think it's cute. I'm satisfied. I don't even know why I'm posting this here. It's better than nothing, I guess.

Wow, I totally drew a 24-hour comic this weekend! I can't guarantee that everyone will like it. It's called UrbEx, and it makes no damn sense, seriously. But I did it! I'll do a better job next time. And there will be a next time. Oh, yes.

Hey-o! My guest comic for the awesomeness that is Gunnerkrigg Court went up today, and I guess it'll be up through the weekend, as well! That's very nice! If you've discovered this site through Tom's link, welcome. Feel free to stop back again in the coming months, when I'll do my best to put up some new stuff for you to enjoy. I mean it for reals.

As a bonus for the Gunnerkrigg readers who decided to give my site a shot, here's a look at part of what I was going to do for my guest thingie until I decided it was stupid: thingie.

GASP! There is an update! It is a comic! So go check out the comics section -- or just click here if you can't be bothered -- for a new short story. It's not terrible!

Seriously, though, I'm kind of a tard about updating. To say the least.

This site isn't dead. I've just been sort of busy...and lazy. I'm getting ready to give Jinxille a new design in the next month. Something hopefully rather permanent. Not sure exactly what it's going to be yet, but it will be neat. And it'll be a bit more engaging than what I have up right now. I'll also be putting up new art and making semi-regular updates. Maybe then I can get a bit of traffic. That would be nice.

Part one of a three-part comic has been posted in the comics section. It's just my senior project toned and spruced up. The next two installments will be posted when I can get them together, since I have to finish work on a long-overdue project.

Hey, look! A links page! Where'd that come from? Answer: my ass.

I've fixed a couple of things. Tweaked the page template a little . Oh, and I added two pages I completely forgot to include in The Bleeding Tree. I somehow didn't notice they weren't there until a couple of hours ago. Durrr, go me.

There will be a sexy, exciting update tomorrow. No fooling this time. I would have included it tonight, but I need to go to bed. (Just watch. 75% of my posts are going to end with that phrase.)

New stuff is totally almost ready, but Dragon*Con is this weekend. It will have to wait until I return. I'm sorry, but not that sorry, since I get to go to freakin' Dragon*Con! Oh, sweet, sweet nerdery.

I am working on better crap for the site. I hope to have some new stuff up in the comics section within a few days. Here's a little taste of what will be going up:

Wheeee!

Okay, so the comic gallery will be up tomorrow instead. I'm sure millions will riot at the news.

The "about" section is up now. The comic gallery should be up tomorrow.

Due to a family tragedy, my work on all things creative (including my website) is at a sudden halt. I'll try to get back on the proverbial horse as soon as I can, but circumstances are difficult right now, to put it politely. The comic gallery is partially completed, but the rest of it will have to wait until I can get my head straight.

The illustration gallery is finally up. Next is the comic gallery, which will be updated with new comics soon after its launch, including toned versions of my original senior project comic and pages of a new project I'm just starting, which will hopefully turn out to be a short story instead of a novella. The comic gallery should be up quicker than the illustration.

So yeah. The other links work, too, but they're just placeholder pages until I get the real thing up.

If you're visiting this page because I gave you a card at Comic-Con, please have a little more patience. I'm working on the site as fast as I can manage. So far, all there is is this meager front page, but things will improve soon.

It's a start.
