Alone in the Dark

I don’t live in a bad neighborhood, but growing up in a big, crime-filled city and knowing some people who have gotten mugged not far from where I live has given me an instinctive wariness when walking alone, especially at night. I just keep my head up and my wits about me — at least, as much as an ADD-kid like me can manage. So far, so good!
